Pecan Tree is a rapidly growing pediatric practice located in Dallas, TX - Lakewood area. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for greeting incoming patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Complete and accurate information should be obtained from the patient for billing and demographics purposes.
• All incoming calls should be answered in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurate information should be communicated to the caller in a customer- oriented manner
• Calls should be routed to the intended recipient timely and accurately
• Completes administrative duties that ensure the patient’s visit is smooth, billing can be processed timely and accurately, and front office remains clutter free and organized
• Co pays/balances should be collected at the time of visit and in accordance with patient insurance guidelines
• Maintain lobby/front desk cleanliness and organization
• Work as a team with other departments to ensure patients are scheduled and satisfied
• Coordinate when necessary and attend meetings as requested
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized and strong work ethic.
• Computer skills required. Experience with an EMR software system preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Saturdays.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
