Summary: Under general supervision, the Maintenance Crew maintains the facilities and grounds, repairs and replaces structures, equipment, and systems of all facilities of Our Lady of the Wayside, Inc. and performs routine deliveries.

Essential Functions: The list that follows is not intended to be comprehensive; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.

• Maintains facilities grounds by landscaping, weeding, mowing, fertilizing, trimming hedges and snow removal.

• Shampoos carpeting and maintains other types of flooring.

• Paints interior and exterior facilities as needed.

• Repairs equipment, appliances, structures and systems including electrical and plumbing.

• Performs routine pick-ups and deliveries.

• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Maintains strict confidentiality of client and personnel information

• Ability to successfully complete all agency training requirements.

• Adheres to agency’s attendance standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• One year of work experience in the field of maintenance is preferred.

• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable for insurability purposes is required.

Environmental Factors/Physical Requirements:

• May be exposed to infectious illness.

• May be exposed to aggressive residents

• May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• May be exposed to inclement weather including hazardous driving conditions.
