ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND

Mothership Strategies is a top-ranking Democratic digital fundraising firm. We are experts in engaging grassroots supporters online through digital fundraising and online advertising. Mothership has raised over $800 million for some of the largest Democratic campaigns and most influential progressive causes. We are a motivated and passionate team that loves taking ownership of tasks, solving problems, and working towards results. When Democratic candidates and organizations need to unite millions of supporters to raise money online, they call us.OVERALL FUNCTIONThis person will be responsible for email, text, and backend production using HTML and CSS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Code and perform quality assurance on emails and text messages that raise money for Democratic PACs and candidates
Build signup forms and donation pages
Work with Lead Account Strategist to execute list re-engagement strategies
Pay close attention to user experience and make enhancements to it
Build and maintain expertise in the use of multiple email and digital fundraising platforms, including but not limited to ActionKit, Acoustic, and ActBlue

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

Commitment to furthering progressive causes and electing Democratic candidates nationwide.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
Is excited to learn new skills and is good at working through problems.
Learns quickly and can independently apply what they learn through hands-on experience.

Nice to Haves

Experience using ActionKit, Acoustic, and/or ActBlue preferred, but not required.
HTML and CSS proficiency.

Experience:

Relevant experience with campaigns, political fundraising or digital preferred, but not required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This position is a full-time role with benefits. This position pays $52,000. Mothership Strategies offers a highly competitive benefits package that includes health care, dental, and vision coverage; an up 5% 401k company match, observe federal holidays (exceptions during an election year) paid time off, a healthy living, cell phone, and internet reimbursement, and a continued learning benefit.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Term:

Regular, Full Time. This is a cycle position with an end date of 12/1/2024. This is a remote position.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Our workforce is remote, with access to an office in DC.
Typically, 40 hours a week although more is required during peak times.
