Montana Oral Surgery https://www.montanaoralsurgery.com/ is adding a sterilization assistant to the rest of our dedicated surgical team in our Helena office.

Our fast paced practice is in search of long term employees that can provide consistency to our Helena patients. The best candidate would be driven toward a career in the dental surgical field.

Our team is looking for a candidate excited to work in a supportive and proactive work culture. Candidates must be exceptionally detail oriented and able to multi-task, with a warm personality and excellent relational skills. Having a positive and collected demeanor under pressure is a must as well. Applicants must be punctual and reliable team players. High level communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.

We are happy to train an applicant who shows initiative and accountability! If aptitude is shown, we'd love to transition this team member into a full-time surgical assistant within 6month.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining exemplary cleaning standards in clinic space

Assist in preparing equipment, instruments and patients for surgery.

Assist in providing patient instruction/education post operatively.

Once sterilization skills are mastered, duties will include:

Aid monitoring vital signs during sedation.

Aid preparing X-rays.

Calling in prescriptions.

Aid in maintaining consistent stocking and ordering system for surgical supplies

Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma.

Infection Control Experience.

dental assisting and patient care experience – 1 year.

Work hours Tuesday through Friday 7:30 to 5:00.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
