The primary function of this position is to ensure prompt and courteous service for all customers and potential customers of the store. The person must be able to look up parts applications using NAPA’s computerized database. Some secondary, but essential functions of the position include the ability to effectively understand and communicate company policy, follow and adhere to all safety rules (including the handling of hazardous materials), and the ability to operate and utilize a telephone system. You will have direct contact with our customers, and therefore neatness in personal appearance, and the ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service is a must. Must be capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes up to 50lbs. Must occasionally assist with deliveries and act as a back-up delivery person if needed – thus requiring a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to perform other tasks as assigned. Some automotive parts knowledge is helpful, but not necessary. Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves, and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary. Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts. MUST be willing to work flexible hours. Store is open 7 days a week from 7:30am-8:00pm Saturdays until 6pm and Sundays 9-5
