RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building/ facility, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, building lighting systems, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance.
• Manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities.
• Plan, budget and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs.
• Manage preventive maintenance program within the annual budget including all heating, air conditioning, maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Plans annual budget and operates within that budget with regard to the expenses for production supplies, operating supplies, electricity, gas, water and sewer.
• Oversees building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
• Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility.
• Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work product while minimizing overtime and call-in hours.
• Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.
• Maintains the plans for fire evacuation and disaster response. Organizes facility emergency response.
• Maintains up-to-date records for all state, federal and insurance inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent plus technical Training applicable to job duties; BS or associate degree with technical training in plant engineering or factory/plant maintenance preferred
• Seven (7) years of verifiable experience in maintenance and/or construction

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience. Five (5) years of supervisory experience in maintenance management preferred.

• Working knowledge of a variety of software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current/valid driver’s license
