Position Title: Managed IT Service Sales Representative

Position Overview: Mercury Communications is seeking a dynamic Managed IT Service Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities. This role involves visiting prospective clients at their business locations, presenting our comprehensive suite of services, and building tailored support packages to meet their specific needs. Our clients range from small, family-owned shops to large-scale enterprises, and our goal is to enhance their Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to accommodate both in-person and online transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client Representation: Serve as the face of Mercury Communications, effectively communicating our value proposition to potential new clients.

· Service Promotion: Advocate for our managed IT services, which include network design/installation, cybersecurity services, network management, and printer support.

· Sales Proposals: Develop and pitch technical sales proposals tailored to client needs.

· Negotiations: Handle price negotiations and contractual terms with prospective clients.

· Service Agreements: Manage the renewal process for ongoing service agreements.

· Client Support: Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.

· Portfolio Development: Expand our small business client base through strategic networking and marketing efforts.

· Needs Assessment: Evaluate client IT requirements and recommend appropriate equipment and service packages.

· Sales Preparation: Organize sales visits and presentations to effectively pitch our products and services.

· Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through written and verbal reports, progress updates, and project documentation for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

· Eagerness to Learn: We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and selling IT services.

· No Experience Required: While previous experience is not necessary, candidates must be open-minded, coachable, and ready to actively engage in sales activities.

· Professionalism: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Salary: Starting at $30,000 per year, plus a 10% commission on sales.

· Bonus Opportunities: Additional earning potential through performance-based bonuses.

· Insurance: Health, dental, and vision insurance provided.

Work Location: This role is primarily on the road, with a base location in Winchester, VA.
