At Mindful Works, we specialize in offering enriching yoga and mindfulness classes for children in school throughout the Portland Metro area, fostering positive growth and well-being.

**Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Subsitute Yoga Teacher to join our team. As a Subsitute Yoga Teacher, you will lead classes in schools that promote physical and mental well-being through various yoga techniques, games and activies with the kids . Your position will be working with an established school and classrooms that already have an existing yoga program. Your role would be to fill in when the lead teacher cannot be there.

**Duties:**

- Conducting yoga classes for participants of all levels: ages (0-6)

- Demonstrating and teaching proper techniques and mindfulness

- Providing modifications for different skill levels and abilities

- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students

- Incorporating mindfulness and relaxation techniques into sessions

**Experience:**

- Certification in Yoga Instruction

- Experience teaching or mentoring kids

- Knowledge of classroom management

- Ability to design effective yoga classes tailored to children

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in Yoga instruction

- Familiarity with Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids

- Background in classroom teaching is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
