PART TIME (24 hours/week) - FRIDAY-SATURDAY...4:30AM - 5:00PM

Essential staff are paid an extra $3.20/hour in addition to their hourly rate when working on site.

Must be able to pass drug screen for illegal substances and background check

REQUIRED DUTIES:

• Provide security observation of the facility, including the parking lot;
• Provides support to all staff as needed to ensure a safe environment is maintained; responsible for safety and security communication to supervisor, and staff to maintain safe environment;
• Assists, direct and monitors all persons entering and leaving the clinic property;
• Keeps accurate log books, as required; directs emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintains flow of foot traffic;
• Monitors parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area, and do frequent sweeps of the entire OTP area;
• Interact with staff and clients in a professional manner at all times, report any suspicious behavior to the clinic sponsor and/or supervisors;
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing;
• Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees and guests;
• Assist guests and employees in a professional and welcoming manner;
• Other duties, as assigned.

*Include assigning behavioral interventions to clients as needed

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma, GED equivalent, or related experience.

2. Current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

3. Have no outstanding warrants, tickets, fines nor arrests for moving violations.

4. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

5. Two years’ experience in the security, corrections, or military, preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
