The Essentials

• Ten or more years combined experience managing, supervising, or leading an organizational unit.
• Work experience of Transmission and Distribution projects
• Ten or more years of experience with project or program management.
• Be able to analyze, plan, and manage projects related to management coordination within the energy distribution space.
• Experience of deliver corporate system implementations/upgrades and legacy system decommissions with identified OCM challenges.
• Could build comprehensive capacity plans and resource models for Distribution in alignment with material needs.
• Capable to support regulatory filings, develop and communicate resource presentations to senior leadership.

The Preferred

• Ten or more years of managerial/supervisory experience and eight years of project management, construction, engineering or related experience preferred.
• Experience using MS Project or P6 and/or SAP in the past.
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent preferred and Project Management Certification preferred.
• Experience with construction or engineering within a utility industry.
• Experience developing and executing strategies and operational plans.
• Experience ensuring cross functional support and collaboration including resolving cross functional issues and obstacles.
• Experience ensuring appropriate resources are in place to successfully manage work and to meet goals and objectives.
• Experience executing strategies across IPSEC through effective project management and oversight.

Additional information:

Engineer / Project Manager:

• Will manage a minimum of 3 active projects
• Will travel to job sites as needed
• PMP preferred, but not mandatory

• Work Mode: The position’s work mode is hybrid/remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an office on weekly basis. Employees are required to reside or move in the state of California. Hiring managers can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
