Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight: Supervise the packaging process to ensure efficient and timely production of Maine Crisp/BWB products. Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

Quality Assurance: Maintain exacting standards of packaging quality by conducting regular checks and inspections. Address any issues or deviations promptly and ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the packaging team to achieve performance goals and uphold company policies and procedures. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members as needed.

Communication Hub: Act as the primary liaison between the packaging team and management. Communicate production updates, issues, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders clearly and timely.

Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any production-related issues or challenges that arise during packaging operations. Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and production, to implement solutions effectively.

Documentation Management: Oversee the completion of daily paperwork and documentation related to packaging activities. Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in record-keeping to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the packaging department. Implement best practices and procedural enhancements to enhance productivity and quality.

Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for new team members and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the packaging team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in production management or related field is a plus.

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a packaging or manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of packaging processes, equipment, and quality control procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.

Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with production management software is beneficial.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
