Special Education Instructional Coordinator - Immediate Start - Up to $55k with Benefits!

We are seeking a Special Education Instructional Coordinator to support students under teacher supervision by adapting activities, reinforcing learning concepts, and maintaining a positive environment. Tasks include classroom support, monitoring, and promoting independence.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in adapting classroom activities and materials to reinforce learning objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers to evaluate student progress and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives.
• Implement instructional programs and lesson plans, covering various subjects.
• Maintain classroom equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Monitor students in various settings to promote safety and positive behavior.
• Encourage good study habits and student independence.
• Provide instruction in individual and group activities to address student deficiencies.
• Document student activities and implement behavioral plans.
• Model appropriate social behavior and interactions.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.

Other Functions:

• Support teachers in administering tests and assignments.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist with students' social, academic, and behavioral development.
• Supervise students during various activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of students' disabilities and maintain fairness and courtesy.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
