Responsibilities
- Designs, revises, and updates marketing materials such as web and social ads, email graphics, infographics, presentations, websites, blogs, print materials, merch, and trade show displays according to sales, customer success, and marketing objectives.
- Designs book cover and interior layouts from concept to completion. The process involves working directly with an author and project manager to produce a printed book through multiple rounds of formatting and editing.
- Ability to stay organized and utilize project & asset management systems, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
- Maintain and elevate the brand aesthetic across all digital touch-points.
- Ability to create and navigate design workflows using templates and software that make efficient asset creation.
- Create and manage website content using multiple content management systems.
- 2 years of graphic design experience with a solid understanding of brand identity systems and their application.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud tools; Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in both print and digital output.
- Proficient in user interface design using Figma to create website components, responsive layouts, and prototypes.
- Determined attention to detail, especially at a fast pace.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Advanced knowledge of design principles including typography, composition, imagery, illustrations, etc.
- Collaborative attitude and the ability to take creative direction and criticism.
- Experience using content management systems preferred. (Contentful is preferable).
- Experience in video, editing or motion graphics animation preferred (Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D).
