Veterinary Technician

Duties:

• Taking and assisting with digital x-rays.
• Scheduling and intaking surgery appointments.
• Explaining follow-up and home care instructions to clients.
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with MVH policy.
• Preparing estimates for procedures.
• Maintaining surgical suite and surgical inventory.
• Assist the veterinarian with medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Must be comfortable with blood draws, monitoring anesthesia, administering fluids, running in house lab work, administering medications, applying treatments, and monitoring patients during surgery and recovery.
• Help manage and direct the client/patient flow in practice.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
