We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and knowledgeable produce associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh, locally grown produce and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a produce associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our produce, assisting customers with their selections, and contributing to the overall success of our market. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their produce selections, offering recommendations and answering questions about our products.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce displays, ensuring all products are presented attractively and are well-stocked.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of produce, removing any damaged or expired items.
• Help handle produce deliveries, including unloading, inspecting, and stocking new shipments.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down produce displays.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for our customers.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of produce.
• Perform general cleaning duties to customer standards

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Work well both independently and within a team environment
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of produce and an interest in local agriculture is a plus.
