Little Debbie's Family Services is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Port Charlotte, FL

Little Debbie’s Sputh Florida location is seeking a fully Licensed Clinical Therapist/Director with strong experience in leading a clinical team providing exceptional evidenced based clinical services while driving adherence to DCF, Medicaid, CARF, insurance and LDFS company policies.
The Clinical Director is responsible for providing management of all clinical functions of our Florida Residential facilities. The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring a high level clinical service is delivered to our residents-including group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling and case management. The clinical director ensures all services and activities are provided in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, CARF Standards, DCF Standards, Insurance Provider Requirements and to LDFS Policies and Procedures.

Works effectively with the facility leadership team and our Medical Director to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

CORE JOB DUTIES:

Works with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

  • Develops evidence based clinical programming and ensures staff compliance to the curriculum.
  • Monitors the continued competency of each assessment, treatment, continuing care, transfer and discharge
  • This monitoring must include a semi-annual review of a sample of the clinical records.
  • Audits documentation to ensure compliance to company policy, state regulations, CARF standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This Includes:
  • Biopsychosocial
  • Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates
  • Individual, family and group therapy session notes
  • Discharge Summary
  • Regularly monitors group therapy sessions to ensure quality programming is delivered and to ensure compliance to the program curriculum.
  • Ensures all clinical staff are meeting 90% compliance on facility Provides at least twice monthly feedback/coaching session with each staff member to improve lagging metrics and provide incentive to those meeting the goal.
  • Reviews Service Time Report each day and proactively resolves patient or staffing problems resulting in lack of compliance. Works with Compliance Director and all leadership to ensure patient attendance in clinical sessions.
  • Provides verbal and written feedback to staff, as needed to ensure optional staff performance.
  • Identifies areas for improvement within the department by analyzing data and developing, implementing, and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes.
  • Provides clinical supervision to all clinicians who are no independently licensed/certified according to state regulations. Signs all clinical documents requiring second signature for non-independently licensed/certified practitioners.

OTHER REQUIRED TASKS:

  • Effectively leads Clinical Staff Meetings at least monthly.
  • Recruits and hires clinical team members.
  • Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
  • Creates a positive environment for staff.
  • Performs other tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (Florida) required
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or health-related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, CARF standards, and Insurance Company
  • Five or more years of Clinical Treatment experience
  • CPR Certification required
