Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control. If you have a passion for negotiating contracts and optimizing procurement processes, we want to hear from you.

Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company operations
- Source and purchase materials, products, and services in line with company requirements
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages
- Utilize MRP systems for efficient purchasing and inventory management
- Oversee logistics and shipping processes to optimize supply chain efficiency

- Drive sales through advertising, markdowns and promotions to reach goals.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles

- Work with retail stores to educate associates on product and merchandising.
- Computer knowledge -MS office, Purchasing systems and Excel
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective deals

- Monitor stock levels while keeping with in the Open to Buy Budget
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory control

- Attend trade shows and events
- Ability to analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in contract negotiation and management
- Understanding of inventory control best practices
