Compensation:

$65,000

Responsibilities:

What Our Lead Case Manager Does:

  • Review legal documents to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Assist attorneys in case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed.
  • Offer recommendations to attorneys on cost-effective ways to achieve client goals.
  • Draft legal documents for attorney review.
  • Organize and maintain case files and engagement information, electronically or in paper format, in line with firm policies.
  • Provide case status updates to clients and outside counsel as requested.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, staff, and attorneys to manage the firm's caseload, present case summaries/updates, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:

What We Need From You:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Paralegal in a family law firm.
  • Paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in law, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple matters concurrently.
  • Essential experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
  • Professional experience in case management processes, ideally as a personal injury case manager, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal in a family law firm.
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including spreadsheets, word processing, and case management software.
