JD's Tavern is a locally owned and operated warm, inviting, upbeat tavern in the heart of Apex. We are looking for EXPERIENCED bartenders with late night time availability. We have an amazing LATE NIGHT following -- and we are designed for YOU to make money! Be prepared to stay late! We focus on fresh homemade food, local craft beers, creative cocktails, and unique wines. JD's is open from 11am till 2am seven days a week. Must Have Open Availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Entertain guests with flair, sports culture, music, and atmosphere adjustment
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Keep a clean work environment

Skills

• Resume and at least 2 years experience as a bartender in a high volume establishment
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Attention to detail and focus on cleanliness
• Team Player
• Knowledge of sports and sports bar culture a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
