Kalas is a copper wire manufacturer that has been around for 63 years. We are looking for motivated machine operators to support our 3rd shift team. Kalas creates copper wire and also does insulation of that copper wire. We are a very family-oriented company and love to promote within. There is much opportunity for growth and longevity at Kalas.

Job Functions of Machine Operator:
- Sets up machine working with various tooling, using proper gears, dies and wire.
- Loads and unloads machine; rolls up all supply wire to machines.
- Machine maintenance and quality checks.
- Maintains records and submits accurate paperwork.
- Pulls off wire scrap from spools and places in proper containers.
- Performs annealing tests, measures wire gauge and performs other tests
Qualifications of Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Equivalent experience providing knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and frequently push/pull up to 1000 pounds. (assistance available)
- Ability to stand continuously for entire shifts.
Experience of Machine Operator:
- Preferred warehouse experience.
- Preferred previous machine operating experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.30 - $25.30 per hour
