Kenny Ross Ford South is hiring body technicians at our Castle Shannon collision center location! Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for experienced body techs!

Job Duties:

· Repair vehicles per estimate according to manufacturer standards to pre-loss condition relative to safety, form and function.

· Measure and repair unitized and full frame vehicles to factory specifications.

· Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality repair.

· Notify management of any situations that may cause a delay in repair.

· Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.

· Prepare vehicles for body repair work.

· Notify management of any additional repairs needed.

· Maintain and operate tools and equipment in a proper and safe manner.

· Keep work area clean.

· Maintain and wear all required safety and personal health protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

· Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.

· Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.

· Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

· Repairs damaged vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
