Jim's Landscaping creates and maintains high-end residential outdoor living environments at some of the nicest homes in the Metro-West.

We have been in business for over 20 years with sustained and steady growth.

We're at the point of needing another another Crew Leader, responsible for managing a small crew (or working autonomously) and maintaining our customers' properties.

You should:

...have GREAT communication skills, and understand how to effectively communicate with homeowners, team members, sub-contractors and other various stakeholders. Texting, phone, email and documentation via our management software Jobber will all be necessary.

...are creative problem solvers. You make quick and cost-effective decisions in the field.

...are highly organized and can maintain records of equipment, tag any broken equipment repairs, and identify opportunities where we can be more effficient through process improvement or equipment investments.

… love learning and love teaching! You get to train new crew members on what you've learned from your many years of experience, sharing best practices, tips and tricks of the trade.

.. love figuring out a better way. We are a 'continuously improving' organization. We learn from our own experience and lessons, other companies, blogs, publications, youtube, trade shows etc.

... are experienced plow drivers. During the winter months, you are available to work on-call for snow and ice events and enjoy operating a plow and/or de-icing truck.

The Landscaping Crew Leader position requires experience with:

> Driving a truck and trailer (non-CDL)
> Lawn maintenance (zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers etc).
> Spring and Fall cleanups, including operating leaf vacuum, riding blowers, dump trailers.
> Clean driving record of at least 3 years
> Positive can-do attitude, a good sense of humor, and the desire to teach
> MA DOT card preferable

Note: We are a drug/alcohol free company.

> Drivers License (Required)

Hours
Hours fluctuate seasonally: 7am-5:00pm (peak season) with occasional OT, and some Saturdays required.
