Jedco Inc., a leading supplier to high precision industries such as aerospace and defense, has immediate openings for Technical Assemblers for 2nd/3rd Shift at its Grand Rapids facility.

**Summary**

Responsible for the Technical Assembly of precision aerospace components using various machines such as rivetors, arbor presses, mills and other equipment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

-Performs set-up, operation and maintenance of assembly area machines and other equipment related to part assembly.

-Assembles products using various assembly methods

-Works at different work stations as required to support production needs

-Reads and understands operation process sheets, tooling instructions, blueprints and basic manufacturing documents

-Follows all processes provided for production and works with supervision and engineering for improvements and modifications

-Provides production work as required

-Reads and understands measuring and testing equipment

-Performs detailed inspection of work performed

-Maintains required Jedco and customer specifications

-Monitors and improves area cleanliness

-Follows Jedco manufacturing guidelines
