We are seeking an Landscape Specialist / Crew Lead to lead daily activities of the landscaping crew. The right individual for the role will bring strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, lawn care, and shrub/bush care, have a demonstrated history of leading and managing construction crews, be detail- and quality-oriented, and enjoy working in a growing company.
Job Responsibilities
The Landscape Specialist / Crew Lead will:

• Lead and supervise a crew of 1-4 team members.
• Conduct landscape maintenance, lawn maintenance, planting, mulching, and other tasks to a high level of quality.
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including trucks, skidsteers, excavators, aerators, dethatchers, bed edgers, and others.
• Train crew members.
• Maintain accurate records of time and materials used on job sites.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to schedule and plan projects.
• Perform snow removal and/or plowing in the winter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape and landscape maintenance.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor crew members.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License is a plus.
