Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests receive a friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
• Prepare, set-up, stock, take down, clean and provide quality beverage and food products by adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
• Handle continuous requests in a fast paced environment.
• Answer questions regarding the local area and facilities and be able to give proper directions and resources to positively influence each guest’s stay.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
• Coordinate meeting room requests, setup, take down, clean and provide quality food and beverage service during the duration of events.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is ideal. You must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type, use basic technology. This job requires you to stand for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary Range: Starting at $20/hr or more DOE
