We are seeking experienced Psychiatric/ Mental Health experienced, Registered Nurses to work in a Mental Health Facility.

The job entails providing professional nursing care to emotionally disturbed and mentally ill patients. Must be comfortable working in a Mental Health facility. This role is in Ogdensburg, NY. Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Mental Health RN's administers nursing care to patients with varying levels of mental health disorders and developmental disabilities under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Monitors treatment and administers medication to patients as needed.

Essential functions

Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and family members to gather case history

Plans and provides Nursing care for patients

Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients

Maintain patient confidentiality

Consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for patients

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited program of Registered Nurse and possession of a valid and current Registered Nurse issued by the New York Board of Registered Nursing

BLS Certification

Two year's experience as a Psychiatric or Mental Health Registered Nurse
