We are looking for an experienced, bright, responsible, dependable team player for our very busy Physiatry/Pain management clinical team. This is an in-person Part-Time position; remote work is not available. Potential for travel to our Cheshire satellite office
Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be proficient with electronic health record systems. Candidate should consistently exhibit exceptional customer service while maintaining professional conduct. Must demonstrate superb written and verbal communication skills to patients, providers, and colleagues
Duties including but not limited to:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders
- Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and technology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control procedures
