Innovative Behavior Options leads the way in providing in-home, center-based, and in-school ABA therapy for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. We're actively seeking passionate individuals to join our team as ABA Therapists / Registered Behavior Technicians.
Location: Cumming/ Sugar Hill
Therapy sessions typically range from 2 to 4 hours, occurring 3 to 5 times per week, with a focus on hours between 8am-6 pm. We currently offer full-time positions with opportunities for growth within the company. Therapy sessions take place in various settings including our center, schools, clients' homes, and within the community, under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
We offer competitive compensation based on experience, with a pay range of $24-$30 per hour. Additionally, we provide comprehensive hands-on training, ongoing program supervision, opportunities for Continuing Education Credits, BACB Supervision hours (where applicable), and clear career paths to BCBA and other roles. Benefit packages are available based on the number of hours worked.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in ABA/Autism Care
- Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Preferred Candidates:
- RBT Certification
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 48 college credit hours
- First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain certification through a face-to-face course
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurate data collection and implementation of measurement and recording procedures as directed by the supervising BCBA
- Traveling to clients' homes, daycare centers, or clinics as needed
- Adherence to lifting and movement requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods
- Utilization of the Catalyst data collection system to maintain accurate progress graphs
- Implementation of diverse teaching procedures such as discrete trial and naturalistic teaching
- Understanding and implementation of behavioral reduction interventions according to individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Effective communication with therapy team members, caregivers, and case supervisors
- Meeting client needs, including toileting, feeding, and assisting with personal hygiene
- Representing IBO professionally and ethically to clients and colleagues
- Providing quality therapy under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
