Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and care
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the coffee bar and seating areas
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of products
- Assist in stocking inventory, rotating products, and managing supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in food preparation, preferably in a coffee shop or similar setting
- Strong math skills including retail math and basic math for cash handling
- Knowledge of food service practices, food safety standards, and hygiene regulations
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Passion for coffee and familiarity with different coffee blends and brewing methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in the food industry is a plus
