Position Details

GACS has the following teaching positions open beginning with the 2024-25 school year :

• Six (6) elementary classroom teachers
• One (1) elementary Physical Education teacher
• One (1) secondary Social Studies teacher (grades 8-12)

Qualifications :

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, appropriate Michigan teacher certification and meet the MDE highly qualified standards for the position to which they are applying.

All candidates must also possess strong instructional and classroom management skills and the ability to utilize instructional technology.

The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board finds to be appropriate and suitable.
