Qualifications
The ideal Guest Service Representative candidate will preferably have at least one year of Front Desk Agent experience, exceptional communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who can deliver total guest satisfaction
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner

Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Associate you are responsible for providing our guests with the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner while assisting them with the check-in and check-out process and assisting with travel and/or activity arrangements
Checking guests in and out of the hotel in a efficient, courteous and professional manner
Ensuring that special requests are noted and fulfilled
Communicating with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs
Promoting and selling special hotel programs, special rate packages and upgrades when appropriate
Informing guests of hotel services, features and room amenities
Providing information and/or answering questions about local area attractions and things to do
Assisting guests with travel and activity arrangements prior to their arrival
Coordinating all guest requests for special arrangements or services in a courteous and efficient manner
Answering the telephone in a professional manner and assisting guests with any questions, directions, etc
Managing and resolving all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner
Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
Closing and securing the property at the end of the business day
Performing closing paperwork duties including, but not limited to, auditing all charges and postings, reconciling daily activity and closing all accounts in preparation for the new business day
