Greenbriar Nursing Center is seeking a highly energetic, motivated self-starter to lead our Activity Department. Our ideal candidate would be creative and passionate about helping Long-Term Care Residents.
Requirements
- Activity Director Certification (Preferred)
- Long term care experience (preferred)
- 2 years of full-time experience in a social or recreational program (required)
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute activities and functions for our residents
- Develop and implement specific programs based on the needs of the residents
- Provide therapeutic activities tailored to physical, mental or psychosocial needs
- Perform assessments and keep up with documentation on residents in a timely manner
- Oversee the overall operation of the activity department including hiring, educating and directing staff.
- Serve on interdepartmental committees as necessary
