CNC Set-Up and Operator

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Operate the CNC’s (machine shop and die room)

· Retrieve dies and trim tooling

· Put away dies and trim tooling

· Prepare dies for the forge shop which includes looking over the dies and grinding or polishing if needed

· Get trim tooling, hole punches, and coin tooling ready to run

· Sharpen trim tooling, hole punches and coin tooling when needed

· Cutting and squaring up stock for any tooling needed

· Bench dies

· Taking part casts or assist in taking part casts

Required abilities:

· Interpret and read blueprints

· Machine to blueprint specifications

· Ability to work as a team

· Work efficiently and productively

· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Knowledge of the following will be required:

· CNC vertical machines

· Manual milling machines

· Automatic and manual surface grinders

· Hand grinders

· Band saw

· Drill presses

· Forklift operation

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

· Lifting up to 100 lbs

· Pushing/Pulling

· Climbing

· Reaching overhead
