Fiber Splicers are needed. Heimes Corporation is in need of qualified individuals to work with fiber optic cables on our directional drilling crews to install fiber optic cables underground. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling. Fiber Splicing, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI).
Full-Time positions available for Fiber Splicer's who will install and dress fiber optic cables, fusion splice fiber optic cables. May have to assist directional drilling crews with occasional laboring/operating to help crews install fiber lines. Must be able to be on call or be scheduled for occasional evening/night work.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). Must not be color blind to match up fiber. We utilize the E-Verify system for the employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English Language.
Pay varies depending on previous experience.
