Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Supervisor with equipment operator experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape installation and landscape construction, lawn care, and garden maintenance. As a Landscape Supervisor, you will oversee and lead a team in various landscape installation projects, ensuring high-quality results.
Equipment operator experience with the following is a pre-requisite for the job: skidsteer, mini-excavator, excavator, as well as other construction equipment. a CDL license is an added benefit. The ability to read landscape and construction plans is preferred.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities
- Plan and execute landscape projects including construction and irrigation
- Maintain outdoor spaces to ensure they are visually appealing and healthy
- Provide leadership and guidance to landscaping crew members
- Monitor inventory of tools and equipment needed for landscaping projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and supervising roles
- Proficiency in various landscaping techniques such as hardscaping, planting, pruning, and mulching
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Knowledge of landscape construction techniques, irrigation systems and plant care
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
