RUSSELLVILLE | WAREHOUSE WORKER | PART TIME

Hank's is looking for a warehouse worker. Employees should be clean cut and in good physical condition (able to lift and move furniture). They should be able to work well with little supervision and able to keep up a fast pace. Must always be safe and courteous to those around them. Approx 28 hrs a week. Saturdays are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proper loading and unloading of the truck. Making sure of proper tie down methods and that care is taken with pick up or returned items.
• Responsible for orderly paperwork (signatures, etc.)
• Reporting all problems to the store and their supervisor as they arise.
• Keeping up with tools and gear.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• In good health and physically able move heavy objects in and out of tight spaces.
• Good communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds to shoulder height
• Flexibility, including the ability to frequently squat, bend, kneel, and stoop
• Ability to reach overhead and below waist level to retrieve and store large and/or heavy items
• Ability to push and pull heavy carts and dollies loaded with heavy items
• Occasional climbing of ladders and steps to access high storage areas
• Ability to maintain balance and coordination while carrying heavy, large, and/or bulky items and navigating through tight spaces
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and to withstand extreme temperatures
• Ability to withstand dust, dirt, and noise typical of a warehouse environment
