The General Morgan Inn is currently in need of an On Call/Part Time Bartender who is looking to enjoy a flexible schedule, highly competitive compensation and gratuities and the finest training in all of Tennessee. All that is required is a friendly smile and a desire to succeed.

Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

• Ability to serve as Bartender or Server depending on business need
• Operation and oversight of a full-service or event bar, including stocking, replenishing and serving of beverages.
• Knowledge of various beers, craft cocktails, and wine varieties
• Adherence to all local laws and hotel policies related to the service of alcohol
• Utilization of Point of Sale system to track and process sales of all beverages
• Setting up of tables and banquet spaces before events
• Assisting with food preparation before and during events
• Serving appetizers and plated dinners to guests
• Delivering food from the kitchen to the banquet spaces in a timely manner
• Serving and refilling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Assisting with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down
• Providing friendly, anticipatory service to banquet event guests
• Additional tasks and responsibilities
