GAD Bakeries NJ LLC is Hiring an Industrial Food Maintenance Technician Near Burlington, NJ

Juniors Cheesecake is seeking a maintenance mechanic.

Must have experience and a strong work history.

Experience in food manufacturing facility is preferred.

This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing all facilities and manufacturing equipment including but not limited to: construction, painting, plumbing, welding, heating/cooling, automation and fire protection systems in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the Maintenance Manager. This position creates value for the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals.

· Assists the Maintenance Manager with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.

· Installs and performs diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.

· Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems on plant facilities and production equipment to include, but not limited to motors, pumps, conveyors, plumbing, hydraulic problems, and lighting.

· Develops and implements mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.

· Troubleshoots mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.

· Uses hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment daily.

· Documents processes and maintains mechanical service records.

· Performs machine shop work operating various machines such as drill presses, grinders, MIG/TIG/stick welders, plasma torches, cutting equipment (i.e., chop saw), pneumatic tools and electric/manual hand tools

· Handles simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts.

· Monitors the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.

· Optimizes mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.

· Trains co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.

· Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials, and maintains a tidy work area.

· Ensures that all work performed meets required codes (OSHA, City and Federal) and is in accordance with plant policies and procedures.

· Handles personal tools for job including up-to-date documented personal tool lists.

· Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and documents maintenance concerns/resolutions in an electronic database; providing action plans and status reports as needed

· Manages positive employee relations.

· Adheres to all company standards and policies to meet company objectives.

· Performs other duties as assigned by management.
