Title: Appian Developer/ Manager

I. Appian Platform Configuration

a. SAML authentication via Entra for single sign on users.

b. SSL on the web server.

c. Auditing of record access and changes.

II. Data Conversion / Data Integration The Fund will provide connectivity (data integration) guidance to Appian for each data silo in the development pipeline.

III. Support Scope

a. Vendor is to provide breakfix and work hour coverage on basic support of work deployed to production. 24/7 support is not required.

b. Basic Appian application server maintenance.

c. Support consultancy services will be provided for the duration of the contract with performance metrics to be determined with the Fund representatives during designated information sessions.

While there is no formal designated review period established by this RFP, it should serve as notice that Fund representatives shall be granted the opportunity to discuss performance concerns during such sessions.

IV. Development Scope

a. Data model guidance and/or configuration

b. Form design guidance and configuration.

c. Dataset integration guidance if leveraging any capability of the data fabric.

d. All ETL work to be performed by the Fund. Vendor generally does not have to do any data conversion and data clean up but may provide advisory guidance on best approach.

e. Vendor will provide development experience and hands on configuration in:

i. Converting excel sheets to forms where there is remapping to target data model.

ii. Converting Access database applications to the Appian web equivalent where the Fund will provide guidance on how to consolidate datasets properly and will provide import and data readiness.

iii. Advising on how to best perform the conversion under various circumstances.

iv. Occasionally, Vendor may need to coordinate or interface with users on requirement specifics on more complicated builds

f. Development Scope metrics will also be tailored to the Fund’s needs and assessment of the Vendor’s capabilities. An example of such an assessment would be the Vendor’s ability to create a typical functional page with potential reusable components. (Building a page with 10 fields of all varchar(100) should not take more than one hour without permissions or complexity of navigation controls. Adding navigation controls, basic field validation for two fields and basic usability features may be another two hours. We should not see 20 hours billed unless the Fund requests a field to include complex calculations and additional actions tied to population of data.)

V. Compatibility Work product must be compatible with all the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) at go-live for each parcel of work. Page 5 of 10

VI. Management and Training There are no requirements for the vendor to provide management or training, although there will be needs for “cheat sheets” for difficult to understand concepts or specific configuration of the platform, where knowledge will be helpful for continuous improvement.

VII. Other The Fund welcomes the ideas of the vendor for additional items not listed that the vendor feels will add value or improve the overall experience and/or security of the application platform.
