The Gould School of Law is seeking to hire a Program Administrator whose responsibilities will be focused on Gould’s new executive education and accelerated JD dual degree programs. Our new hire will be instrumental in the planning, development, launch and execution of these programs. This person will have a hands-on role in our Executive Education program which will connect legal practitioners, business executives, leaders of nonprofit companies, organizational leaders and others with self-paced online courses which are focused on current legal issues. Our Program Administrator will also play a key role in our new accelerated JD dual degrees which will allow our law school to meet demand by prospective students who are seeking such programs that fit their professional and career timelines. Our initial offering will be an accelerated JD/MBA which will prepare graduates for successful careers in law and business and for work in global environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Education: Master’s degree
Preferred Experience: 3 years of work experience in higher education. Prior experience in executive education and/or continuing legal education preferred. Prior experience in managing and supervising staff preferred.
Job Accountabilities:
Administers and assists the Associate Dean & Chief Programs Officer with the planning, development, launch and execution of Gould’s executive education and accelerated JD dual degree programs
Conducts research on competitive programs to help develop program objectives; stays informed of developments in the field
Prepares program proposals
Assists with the identification of subject matter, creation of content of our execution education course modules
Assists with the identification of and hiring of subject matter experts to teach our executive education course modules
Prepares budgets including budget tracking, and monitoring, as well as contributing to the planning and preparing of annual program budgets and projections
Completes questionnaires, curriculum materials and other documents for submission to the various bodies that review and approve program materials
Develops, maintains and provides recommended updates with website copy, application forms and other relevant program materials
Develops and maintains relationships with other units on campus with whom the law school is partnered on our accelerated JD dual degree programs
Manages executive education registration and enrollment and serves as key resource for program information (interfacing and resolving issues with program staff, university administrators or other contingencies supporting our programs)
Assists with the development of and oversees the online platform that delivers our executive education program
Coordinates with the marketing team on the creation of a fully integrated communication program for our executive education program to include email, social media, a newsletter, and other methods to support the program
Maintains accurate and timely progress on our executive education and accelerated JD programs’ activities and prepares regular status reports
Tracks performance measures to assess programs’ success and conducts quality assurance reviews; provides recommendations to modify program as appropriate
Assists with the law school’s final exam administration and proctoring at the end of the fall and spring semesters, orientation, commencement, and other events featuring students and alumni as required, each year
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,792 - $96,000.
