Communications Intern

Description of Responsibilities: Design in-house promotional or informational materials for all departments including brochures, pamphlets, flyers, graduation certificates, postcards, gift cards, Annual Reports, programs, invitations, posters and signs. Will also assist with company sponsored special events/promotions and volunteer programs as it pertains to Public Relations and promotions. Works some evenings/weekends as necessary.

Required Experience: High school diploma required, degree in art or related discipline preferred. Some experience in computer generated graphic arts field and experience with leading edge computer graphics programs.

• Required skills: Knowledge of art preparation, print, electronic and graphics media. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat). Ability to work under tight deadlines, work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills.
