Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Surveillance Agent”for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for continually monitoring the hotel and casino operations to endure adherence to the state gaming regulations, in house internal controls and company policies and procedures
• Checks all surveillance equipment at the start of the shift to ensure these are in good working condition
• Views the casino areas for identification of cheating activities, undesirables, pilferage and embezzlement
• Maintain and provide accurate and timely reports, daily logs, and emails
• Assists Security in protecting the welfare of the employees and guests of the casino and hotel
• Coordinates with local, state and federal law enforcement in the investigation of criminal activity which occurred on company property
• Keeps the surveillance equipment and working area clean at all times

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Excels in retaining and recalling information
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
• Knowledge of Gaming regulations
• Maintains Surveillance equipment including cleaning of cameras as needed
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years gaming and or investigation experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with computer related systems preferred
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
• Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board
