Location: 

Houston, TX (This is a hybrid position and will need someone to be in the Houston office for 4 days a week).

Job Description:

We seek a skilled EPC Estimator to join our team in Houston, Texas. Our company specializes in constructing data centers, electrical substations, and short distribution lines.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of estimates for construction projects (mainly electrical HV/MV/LV)
• Utilize RS Means or similar software for construction estimation
• Leading the procurement process for construction projects, in both technical and commercial discussions, with support from other departments until contract signature
• Collaborate with project teams to understand scope of work
• Continuous learning about market trends and pricing
• Engage with suppliers and contractors
• Develop Master Vendor List with qualified suppliers for new areas

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in HV/MV/LV bid preparation and construction
• Proficient in the use of RS Means or similar construction estimation software
• Good knowledge of US suppliers and contractors
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
