Home Care Caregiver needed IMMEDIATLY in Eden Prairie AREA - 12 Hours Per Week Commitment PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

Interested in Caregivers who can commit to working 12 or more hours for DAY SHIFTS per week. You will be driving to client's homes within the Eden Prairie/Chaska areas to provide personal and companion care. The shift lengths generally range from 3 hours to 5 hours, typically.

***This position involves driving to clients' homes/apartments. There is no “home-base”, this is a community-based role. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid car insurance is required. ****

LOCATIONS: You will be driving to a client's home in Eden Prairie/Chaska area.

We are looking for a professional caregiver who:

• Great verbal communication (for communication with clients and families)
• Great written communication (for documentation purposes)

A Day in The Life of a FirstLight Caregiver (varies from client to client based on their needs):

• Providing one-on-one care in a client's home or place of residence
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Help with mobility, bathing and grooming.
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence care
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Shopping, errands and transportation
• Grocery shopping
• Sorting/organizing mail and assisting with bill paying.

Requirements for Professional Caregiver:

• Must have reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Dementia/Alzheimer's or Memory Care Experience
• CNA Certification Preferred but not required.
• 1 year of caregiver experience.
• Mobile Phone with active service
• Must be able to complete training within 7 days.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving or CNA/HHA: 1 year (Required)
