The First Tennessee Development District is accepting applications for the position of Caring Workplaces Financial Coordinator. Major responsibilities include responsibility for the financial tracking of multiple funding sources for the Caring Workplaces. Responsible for the financial record keeping, creation and maintenance of budget trackers, invoice trackers, report preparations and monitoring of partner (subgrantees/subcontracts) of Caring Workplaces. Financial management of grant funds in coordination with the Director of Finance for the First TN Development District. Reviews and analyzes subcontractor invoices, codes expenses according to specific funding source reporting requirements and reviews documentation for accuracy and financial reconciliation.

Requires a minimum of an associate degree in accounting and or finance. B.S. degree in finance or accounting preferred and/ or experience in governmental accounting system and procedures with responsibility for accounting software. Ability to create and maintain budget and invoice trackers, be organized and precise with data entry and reporting of data. Knowledge of CARING WORKPLACES multiple funding sources, financial management, and report requirements. Knowledge of agency’s rules and policies. The complexity of the duties requires exceptional flexibility of thought and judgement in the completion of daily activities. Effective handling of access of sensitive and confidential information. Meet deadlines as required. Ability to work closely with others, knowledge of organization and structure of local, state, and federal government is highly desirable. Bi-weekly salary is $1730.96.
