JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures the company receives payments and resolves discrepancies according to established policies in an accurate and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter sales/exchanges/returns in POS, deposit and post various payments
• Collections on delinquent accounts, including on location and with legal counsel
• Adjust billing cycle based on cash flow, timeliness, and client need
• Report receivables to accounting and corporate monthly
• Reconcile accounts based on payments/disputes/store error
• Notify Industrial Manager of account productivity issues
• Notify Industrial/District Manager of procedure/service issues at store level
• Assure account records and contacts are up to date, preserve financial and tax data per legal guidelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a technical school
• 1-2 years accounts receivable
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience in computer-based accounting systems
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team with diverse members
