We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various heavy equipment machinery. Equipment Operator position will load/unload barges and semi tractor trailers with company products, such as agriculture products of fertilizer and grain. This position would be assigned to work at either at our port or warehouse facility.

Responsibilities:

• Promptly load and unload products
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-shift inspections and/or clean equipment as needed.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Preferred Equipment Operation experience
• Mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrable ability to perform manual labor in different environments as needed (such as: shoveling, lifting, moving materials)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended hours.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to climb in and out / up and down equipment several times a day.
• Must be able to sit, stand and operate for several hours a day.
• Must be able to use repetitive motions multiple times a day.

Pay dependent on experience. Hours vary by season based on agricultural business needs.
