The QA Associate is responsible of inspecting products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections, recording quality issues and planning processes to decrease the instance of defects in products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities would characterize the requirements of this position. Must possess the skills necessary to perform the majority of the listed functions:
The Production Planning Coordinator performs various projects and duties supporting the document issuing processes
Create new Batch Control Worksheets from. signed off customer SPECs
Compile and maintain master formulas and bill of material documentation to ensure accurate and quality finished product that meet and/or exceed GMP standard
Participate in maintaining a superior rated level of GMP s and sanitation and be ready for regulatory/customer inspections at any time
Complete ERP entries for item Master keys, bills of material, and lab releases
Review manufacturing batch records prior to being released to Production
Compile, implement, and maintain deviation records and QA releases
Compile and maintain records of document form changes, deviation records, and QA releases
Create and maintain various Microsoft Access database files
Update Batch Control Worksheets from change request received from Sales department
Ensure that all Quality Assurance functions are being performed, and documented, in an accurate and efficient manner.
Adhere to industry quality and safety standards
Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
Work closely with the team to improve existing products
Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production
Perform any other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Competencies
1. Minimum 1-2 years in a comparable clerical or manufacturing position
2. Bachelor s degree Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or other related fields
3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and regulatory documents Working knowledge of ERP or other inventory tracking software
4. Intermediate mathematical, problem-solving and communication skills
5. General computer concepts
6. Sharp attention to detail
7. Meticulous and diligent attributes
8. Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
9. Able to sit, stand and walk around for long hours at a time
10. Working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
11. Ability to multi-task
12. Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
