Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Assist with patient registration and intake process
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or questions
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar front desk role preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and computerized scheduling software
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
