We are seeking a Projects and Partnership Specialist to join our Oral Bible Translation Department. This role will assist OBT project coordinators in their daily functions within Asia and other regions as necessary. The position requires excellent administrative skills and the ability to support travel arrangements within ministry guidelines. The ideal candidate will excel in providing outstanding service to in-house staff, global staff, and OBT partners.

Responsibilities include:

Essential Functions:

• Work with the project coordinators to set up new projects in Monday.com and Render software, prepare new scopes, budgets, and MOUs. Provide support for successful project starts within specified deadlines.
• Work with project coordinator to monitor project progress by review Monday.com boards and Render statistics.
• Maintain, collect, track project reports from project coordinators and prepare information and reports to relevant OBT department staff. .
• Do research on languages for potential projects, ensuring consistency with FCBH data standards, and report findings to project coordinators.
• Work with financial administrator and admin support specialist to collect and reconcile expense reports.
• Keep documentation filed and organized in project folders.

Assist with international travel planning for OBT related travel needs, including but not limited to: research on international flights, visas, ground transport and accommodations; assist in coordination and planning of OBT meetings, conferences and events; assist in preparation of travel documents and packets in advance of travelers’ departure and other travel-related needs as appropriate.

• Performs general hospitality tasks for ministry guests per Faith Comes By Hearing’s Hospitality Handbook. Ability to adjust work schedule during donor events like Vision and Chosen.
• Available for additional duties as assigned.

Required:

• One to three years’ work experience in an administrative field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration skills and team player.
• Willing to use communication tools like WhatsApp, Teams, phones, Zoom, email etc. for regular interaction with project coordinators working in different time zones with the goal of providing timely administrative support.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows, excel, Office Suite etc.
• Ability to handle large volumes of complex information from a third culture perspective, interpret them appropriately and respond to accomplish tasks.
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Flexible schedule to regularly accommodate Asian time zones.

Preferred:

• Work experience in cross-cultural situation.
• Experience handling large quantity of information, while sorting it and organizing it in a manner that makes it easily accessible.
• Conversant in relevant Asian language(s) would be helpful.
